This past weekend, TYB Athlete Armin Wahl took his triathlon game out to Idaho to compete in Ironman Coeur d’Alene and other TYB Athletes took to the mid part of the state to take on the Tri the Midlands Sprint Triathlon in Columbia, SC. Check out the results below:
Armin Wahl – Ironman CDA - 10:17:44 – After having a great first Ironman last year at Beach 2 Battleship, Armin used an incredible swim, bike and a 3:24 marathon to finish sub 10:20 and finish 18th out of more than 260 finishers in the M35-39.
Matt Morris – Tri the Midlands -1:05:52 – After the 3rd fastest bike and a top 10 run split, Matt finished just under 1:06 to take 4th Overall and 1st in the M40-44 Age Group.
Chris Morris – Tri the Midlands - 1:14:46 – After a solid swim, a super fast bike and a solid run, Chris finished in sub 1:15 to finish 1st in the MC division.
Frankie Valle – Tri the Midlands - 1:17:45 – After a few weeks of rest, Frankie had a great race and used an impressive swim/bike combo to finish 4th in the M45 – 49, only 4 seconds out of 3rd and only 35 seconds out of 2nd place.
J.T. Lancaster – Tri the Midlands – 1:23:47 – Using one of the fastest swim splits of the day, J.T. had a great race and finshed in sub 1:25 and in 4th Age Group.
Bernie Kreisel – Tri the Midands - 1:32:58 – After a very solid swim, Bernie used a very nice bike and run to finish 7th in her age group.
Travis Peacock – Caine Halter YMCA Sprint Triathlon - Using the Caine Halter YMCA Sprint Triathlon as speed workout as he gets ready for Ironman Lake Placid, Travis had a great swim and bike and an oustanding run to finish in 1st Overall.
